Little River Farms has a brand new
activity called "shadowing". Ashworth Middle School
students came and spent 6 hours with us recently, shadowing us
and learning a great deal of things - like milk from goats is
used not only for drinking but in producing goat cheese and
manufacturing cosmetics. They learned that lanolin comes
from sheep's wool, plus a little bit about the work that is
involved in maintaining and caring for them, and a number of
other things as well.
