Field Trips

Little River Farms takes advantage of every opportunity to teach others about farms and animals.  We have hosted many school groups and children of all ages who visit Little River Farms to learn as much as they can about our farm animals.

We offer field trips for one simple reason: we want children to know what life on a farm is all about!  Our fun, educational tour will give children the opportunity to learn, and they will have the unforgettable experience of going through our amazing Corn Maze.

Our Field Trips Are Fun and Educational

Program for Children and Accompanying Adults

* View pigeons, chickens, pheasants, turkeys and peacocks.  Comparing egg size (when in season)

Just wanted to let you know what a GREAT time we had today!  The kids loved all of it!  So many had not ever been around farm animals before and got a real kick out of feeding and petting them.  You were all SO nice to the kids and very patient (which is not always easy).  We really appreciate the organization and friendliness!  I hope you all have a WONDERFUL MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

"The Orange Tigers"

May 3, 2007

We had a great day at the farm today. All the orange tigers from Calhoun Pre-K had a fun experience. The animals were such a delight and the playground was a great addition. You couldn't have made a better choice. The staff were also very patient and informative. If any one reads this and is wondering if it is worth the time, YES!!! Peace and quiet are sometimes things one needs to get to, and away from the hustle and bustle of eveyday. Thank you so much from the Orange Tigers.
