The Petting Farm |
| |
|

The Petting Farm provides a unique experience for visitors of
all ages, and a wide variety of animals that are always ready
for up close and personal contact. Weather it be a goat,
miniature horse, donkey, bird, sheep, or any other of our
critters, they all crave loving attention.
View pigeons, chickens, pheasants, turkeys and peacocks. Meet
our talking birds - Say “Hello” to Bonnie and Clyde and all
their friends, Sugar Gliders - Darrel and Sheryl are always
waiting for your affection , Ferrets - Prickles! She always
trying to get away, wonder where she is going?, Hedgehog -
Barney and Betty the Bearded Dragons, can you find their third
eye?

Also have fun feeding the Nigerian Dwarf Goats. It’s a real
treat! - Let Chiquita, Rosita and Eagle take food right from
your hands. Hope, Joy, Bailles and all the Nigerian Dwarf
Bellies can’t wait for you to give them FOOD! - Pedro, Taco,
Windy and Baby are waiting in the corral for your undivided
attention! They love to be petted! We also have Mini Donkeys and
Ponies.

We have staff members to explain the history and habits of
most animals. Each child will receive a packet of llama fiber to
take home.
We can help you coordinate field trips for your group, school
or church, so please give us a call for more details or to
schedule your trip. You’ll enjoy all the activities Little River
Farms has to offer, including the hay ride, nature walk, Little
Wrangler Trail and the Scavenger Hunt! We are looking forward to
seeing you! |

My son Caleb,
his father and I came to visit your farm Saturday, October 20,
2007. We sincerely enjoyed our visit. The farm is splendid! I
was very surprised how wonderful it looked. You have done a
fabulous job on everything. The petting zoo was just absolutely
wonderful!!! The babies were just adorable.
